The infamy behind trust rank
China has Renren, Weibo, WeChat, and other social sites, each with several hundred million users. It’s a new era
for Get your arithmetic correct - the primary resources
are all available here. Its as easy as KS2 Maths
or something like that... SEO, an era where you can no longer keyword-stuff your way
to search ranking success. Nowadays, if Google finds out that you are blatantly
overusing (or hiding) keywords on your site, your credibility (and rankings) could
take a serious hit. However, this doesn’t mean that keywords are totally irrelevant.
In fact, if you’re doing what Google wants you to do (creating high-quality content),
keywords will work there way naturally into your website’s pages. Rather than default to a generic, automatically-generated URL, take time to think about how users would search for your content and include one of those phrases in your URL. Separate words with hyphens to make the words in the phrase clear to users and search engines. Avoid smushing all the words together. The cleaner the code on your website, the faster your pages will load and the actual html text on the page will be given greater emphasis. In other words, if you say “vacation rentals” five times in 100 lines of code, those phrases will stand out much more than if you use 10,000 lines of code. As you use more programming code, you dilute the value of the actual verbiage on the page.
Be mindful of landing pages
Engage with customers over social media, encourage them to comment on your articles and offer “How To...” guides and informative content instead of jumping on the “Why You Need To Buy Our Industry-Leading...” bandwagon. By creating great relevant
content with the right keywords and having a few decent backlinks built to those content pages, you can easily rank in Google depending on the competition for that particular search. Competition with a comparable piece of content will beat you in the rankings if they have a better link profile and vice versa. While external links that point to your site provide long-term SEO value, so do links on your site. When you include internal links (links on your website that point to other pages on your website), you send signals to search engines that tell them how to understand, prioritize, and rank the pages on your site. Every business wants to achieve its goals and doesn’t want to invest substantial resources on acquiring an audience to whom it doesn’t even offer the chance to convert.
Have a real content / social media marketing strategy
If you execute your keyword research properly, you’ll end up with a long list of search terms you want to be found for. Make sure to search for those terms in Google yourself. What results are there already? Who will be your online competitors for these search terms? What can you do to stand out from these results? A site that hasn’t done its keyword research is like a car driving in the dark down between two points. Keyword research is a constant and has been and still is a cornerstone of SEO. Do it before you do anything else! On page SEO refers to those elements on a site that make your page more likely to be served up when people are looking for products or services like yours. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant
from SEO York
: "The algorithm responsible for taking the world’s information and organizing it into (usually) 10 entries is, as you likely know, complicated."
